Madrid degree Charity Match for Earthquake Victims
VIVAnews - Lorca Spanish Town was recently hit by an earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter Scale. At least 9 people were killed in that disaster. To comfort the victims, the retainer of Madrid will hold a charity match at Murcia's Nueva Condomina Stadium, Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
As reported by Marca, Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, Los Blancos and the squad will visit the region hardest hit by the earthquake. Nine people were killed, and over 300 people were injured in last week's earthquake.
Real Madrid players will arrive at Lorca, this afternoon, and will immediately visit and say hello to the victims. After comforting the victims, the player will move to downtown to show support to all residents.
Charity match between Real Madrid will take place against a team containing a number of local players from clubs in the area of Murcia. All proceeds from the match will be given to the municipality for distribution to earthquake victims. (umi)
