Nistelrooy eager Back to La Liga
VIVAnews - Former Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, has repeatedly stated his intention to return to the Spanish League (La Liga). Apparently, the desire Nistelrooy could be granted.
Former Dutch national team striker, who is now strengthening the German club, Hamburg, was the target of Malaga. Van Nistelrooy joined Hamburg since 2010 from Real Madrid. He signed a contract for 18 months and can be transferred at the end of June.
Nistelrooy spent 4 seasons with Real Madrid in 2006-2010. 34-year striker scored 46 goals in 68 appearances and won La Liga trophy twice.
"I spent great years at Real Madrid. I love my country (Spain) and great if I could play there again, "said Van Nistelrooy told Bild.
If so moved to Malaga, Van Nistelrooy will be reunited with coach Manuel Pellegrini who spent one season at Real Madrid in 2009-2010. Malaga finish in 11th position La Liga 2010-11.
They appeared in Europe after next season after receiving investment from the owner anyarnya Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani. Gulf tycoon is buying Malaga in June 2010.
While Hamburg apparently will not extend the contract Nistelrooy. They focus more on building a team with young players after 8th place finish in the Bundesliga 2010-11.
